Adding bits of lace beauty to common objects
|
Knitted lace edgings are a beautiful addition to garments, linens, and accessories. Because these trims are typically done on just a few stitches, they are a practical way to explore the structure and techniques of knitted lace. Great for introductory lace knitters, as well as those wanting to advance their understanding of what knitted lace is all about. Students will use both written and charted patterns, and learn to make their own charts. Methods for attaching lace, mitering, grafting, and blocking will be covered. |
