I named this scarf "Peek-a-Bead" because of the beaded accents nestling within a honeycomb of colorful knit fabric. Self-shaping edges, along with a pleasingly reversible textured knit/purl design, make this scarf extra fun to knit and a sure hit to wear.
Shown in Crystal Palace Sausalito color #8308 Monet.
Miyuki seed beads color #430 Blue-lined White Ceylon
This project is good for the advancing beginner because the row has a small number of stitches and the stitch pattern is easy to see and memorize. Peek-a-Bead will also appeal to the skilled knitter looking for some relatively mindless knitting yet something to retain the interest.
