The knitting of this wrap is done sideways from one long edge to the other. The shimmering colors of softly variegated yarn arrange themselves in strokes, playing off the open and solid areas of this lace pattern like beautifully cut sparkling gems.
Finished size 18" by 82". 950 yards lace weight yarn. Size 4 US (3.5 mm) needles suggested or size to give blocked gauge of 4¾ stitches per inch over lace pattern. Shown in Lorna's Laces Helen's Lace yarn, 50% silk/50% wool, color #107 Red Rover. Charted and written stitch instructions.
