Rather than knitting in the round, the cuff/leg is knitted along its length on 2 needles for easy-knitting stripes (you only need to work with one color of yarn at a time), then joined at side seam. Choose festive holiday colors such as the old-fashioned Christmas combo shown here, your school colors, or even combine orphan balls of yarn in different colors.
5 sizes - child small to adult extra large. 2 colors sportweight yarn, 6 ½ stitches/inch, size US 2 / 3.0 mm needles suggested. Shown in Haneke merino/baby alpaca/linen. Written stitch instructions.
